Class Reunion Planned June 7, 2024

Early Heads-Up to BWHS “Class of 1967” that the local Class Committee has signed an agreement with The Windmill in Billings to host an informal reunion on Friday June 7, 2024. This early announcement is to accommodate a request from an out-of-town attendee at the 2023 Reunion that the Committee needed to give attendees more lead time to get the event date on their calendars in order make plans to attend. The 2024 Reunion will be a similar informal format with beverages and hors d’oeuvres; more details will follow in future announcements on the Class Website. 

The 2023 Reunion event at the Windmill had 24 Classmate attendees and a total of 40+ counting spouses/guests. The priority was visiting to reconnect and catch up and that seemed to play out nicely. The consensus feedback was that the Windmill venue, it’s welcoming staff, and the food offerings were ideal, so everyone seemed to enjoy themselves in a fun evening. The Committee got feedback that spouses from earlier classes in Billings high schools really enjoyed the opportunity to join their old high school friends.

The 2023 Reunion was a generous “no- cost” to attendees, the food and beverage bill was paid entirely from funds in the Class Treasury. However, the 2024 Reunion will involve some cost to attendees, likely for beverages, details will be announced later. The Class Treasury is now being conserved to be ear-marked to support a hopeful formal 60th Reunion in 2027.  

The Committee appeals to those Classmates registered on the Class Website to spread the word about the 2024 Reunion to Classmates who aren’t registered yet or aren’t using the Website. About 140 Classmates have registered on the Class website since it was launched during our 50^th Reunion in 2017.
