William E Weeks Jr. (Bill) 68 of Rio Rancho, NM. Passed away on Monday February 12, 2018.  

Bill was born on October 7th 1949 in Princeton, WV. He was the son of William E. Weeks and Betty (Lerche) Weeks. Bill graduated from Billings West High School; he served in the U.S Army.  After his military service he began his career with the United States Postal Service.  His career gave him many opportunities to advance. He held various management positions which included being the Postmaster of Circle and Glasgow, MT.  Bill then transferred to Grants, New Mexico and finally retired as the Postmaster of Los Alamos. In 2005 he retired with 37 years of service.  

Bill’s heart was open to everyone.  He always stood for family regardless how the situation presented itself.  He truly loved golfing, fishing, the casino, and cooking.  Many meals were shared with family and friends near and distant.  He left an unforgettable impression on everyone that was a part of his life.  He truly would wish the same for everyone close to him to have as exemplary a life as he’s had.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Rita, his daughters Candice (Jesse) Kvale of Alaska, Crystal Weeks and Kendall Brown of New Mexico.  His three grandsons Brad Haynie of Billings, MT., Chandler Cross and Justin Brown of New Mexico.  He also leaves behind numerous cousins. Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father.
