Larry (Pete) Russiff

Larry Pete Russiff, 54, passed away of heart failure at his home on Sunday, April 6, 2003. He will be greatly missed by his family and dear friends.

Pete was born Nov. 28, 1948, to Delores and Clifford Lynn in Brunswick, GA.

George Russiff became his father and helped Dee raise him when Pete was 2.

Pete graduated from Billings West High in 1967 and joined the U.S. Army Reserve, 592nd Ordinance Co.

Pete and Debi McMahon were married from 1976 to 1994.

He began his heavy machinery sales career in 1976 with Hall Perry. Pete transferred to Great Falls in 1981 to be manager and back to Billings in 1986 as general manager.

In 1990, Pete and Debi bought Magoos Bar, which Pete was still operating at the time of his death. Pete was preceded in death by his birth father and his mother.

Pete enjoyed golfing and organizing golf tournaments, skiing, and gathering his friends together. He was also a very talented craftsman and helped several friends build their homes. He was a proud member of the Rimrock Masonic Lodge and 32nd degree member of the Billings Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Al Bedoo Shrine Temple and The Oriental Band.
