Allen Hofferber

Allen D. Hofferber, 51, passed away peacefully Monday Oct. 18, 1999, in Billings following an extended illness. He was born June 22, 1948, in Billings to Jacob and Erma Marker Hofferber.

He was educated in Billings, graduating from Billings West High in 1967. After graduation, Allen's career was in the used auto parts business. He worked for Piper's Auto Wrecking until the business was purchased by Johnson Auto Wrecking in 1971; then continued working there until April of 1998.

He made many friends and was a friend to everyone who knew him. His joy was to go on weekend fishing trips to Fort Smith with his buddies.

Allen is survived by his father, Jacob of Billings; brother, Gerald (Arlene) of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; sisters, Sharon (Larry) Long of Spokane, WA., Mackay (Dan) Marsich of Billings, and Marilyn (Bob) Adkins of Joliet; and several nieces and nephews. 

Allen was preceded in death by his Mother(1980), and two brothers, Donald(1980) and Howard(1995).
