Gerald Graham

Gerald D. Graham passed away on Nov. 21, 2017, at RiverStone Health Hospice Home, after a very brief illness.

He was born on March 24, 1949, in Billings, to Gerald and Edna Creaseman Graham. Gerald attended school at Poly Drive Elementary, Lewis and Clark Junior High, Billings West High and Montana State University. After college, he moved to Denver, where he worked as a designer for Diamond Homes, Inc. In 1973, he returned to Billings and started two businesses, Custom Design and Graham Construction. In 1979, he joined CTA, Inc., where he was employed for 32 years until he retired in 2011.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and younger sister, Norma Liebe. He is survived by his wife (and college sweetheart), Jean; sister Sharon Dewell; niece Allison Liebe; aunt Alice Kuhar; uncle Jerry Graham; brother-in-law and wife Jim and Lillian Hartung; and numerous cousins.

A fourth-generation Montanan, Gerald loved his Big Sky Country. He was never happier than when he was camping and hiking in the Pryors and fishing in Big Horn Canyon or on the Tongue River Reservoir.

When spring returns, Jean will release into the breezes of the Pryor Mountains Gerald’s cremains as well as those of the canine companions he had loved and lost. There, his spirit and those of Jack and Jessie, Gambler, Drifter and Tessa, Justice and Daisy will walk together in eternity.
