I’m heartbroken to report that Marilyn passed away. No obituary has been written by her family to date. If one is ever written, I will share it. In loving memory of Marilyn Daines Ness August 10, 1949 - June 4, 2024
Marilyn was a “People Pleaser” and was loved by her co-workers and customers in every job she worked! She would do anything for people bc she cared about them! She is the kindest person I’ve ever met 💕 Love you girlfriend ♥️
I am very sad to hear of Marilyn passing. I pray that she was a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ so that she will be in a much better place now. She was a wonderful person that will be missed.
Marilyn held all of my BWHS memories. She embraced many attributes, generosity, kindness, and a friend to many. A terrific mom, she was blessed with her first grandchild. I will miss you and your laughter, dear friend.
In her later working years, Marilynn staffed the front desk at West Park Village when my mother was a resident there. Serving the needs of elderly residents and their family members at WPV was far more demanding than meets the eye. Marilynn worked above her paygrade with a skill set of a confidante, concierge, mediator, and social director. Marilynn reached out to each resident and their family to get to know them intimately enough to navigate their respective ups and downs, which on any given day could be a moving target. Marilynn unfailingly went the extra mile, knowing that sometimes no good deed goes unpunished. You can learn a lot about someone by how they treat the elderly; Marilynn had the dedication to serve, the compassion, and the patience of a saint in that workplace.
I'm so sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. She was always such a sweetheart... she even friended me on Facebook ... who'd a thought?! ... although we never actually communicated. REST IN PEACE,MARILYN!
in 1967, a teacher mentioned that once we graduated, we would never connect with most classmates and that, of course, is true. Marilyn was one of those who I did not reconnect with until my mother was at West Park in the 90's where Marilyn handled the front desk She was very well thought of at West Park and added to the lives of many of the people there.
