Darryl Lee Rapp

Darryl Lee Rapp, 70, of Billings, went to Heaven March 2, 2020 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Darryl was born is Choteau Montana on July 8, 1949 to Thayne and Frances Rapp. He was a lifelong resident of Montana, he made his home in Billings. Darryl married Janine Gabel September 4, 1970, of this union came two sons, Bradley and Brandon.

Darryl started his career laying carpet. He then went to work for Transport INC and later retired from Knife River Corporation. Darryl’s passion was cars and motorcycles. He was always happy to share his extensive knowledge of vehicles, especially those with a blue oval. He always made time to help family and friends. Being outdoors was something he enjoyed. The Crazy Mountains, fishing and floating rivers with his family were some of his favorite memories.
Darryl is survived by his beloved sons Bradley (Melanie) and Brandon (Garilynn), two sisters, Becky (Barry) Thompson and Diana (Ed) Rookhuizen. Four very special grandchildren, Tyler and Austin (Bradley) and Jadon and Olivia (Brandon) and a sweet killer cat, Mittens.

Preceded in death by both his parents, his brother, Steve and a granddaughter Tavanna Victoria.

Memorial services will be held at Faith Chapel Broadwater entrance, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:30 am. Reception at Faith Chapel following the memorial. His ashes will be spread in Fairfield at a later date.
