CAVE CREEK, Ariz. — Rhonda R. Anderson, 64, of Cave Creek, died May 23, 2014, with family by her side.

Rhonda was born in Billings on Aug. 19, 1949, to Evelyn and Bruce Davis. She was the eldest of two siblings.

Rhonda fulfilled her dream of working with animals, specifically horses, during the last 20 years of her life. Her final venture was Spur Cross Stables, which she ran with her husband, Lee Anderson, in Arizona. Rhonda was a lover of crafts and always had several projects going simultaneously. She was always up for playing a game, whether it was with her grandchildren or on her phone.

She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Anderson; children, Shawn (Crystal) Kiefer and Kim Sire (Jake Thatcher); grandchildren, Seth, Samantha, Skylar, Sidney and Noah Kiefer, Jessie and Abigail Thatcher, and Vanessa Elgas; brother, Neal (Linda) Davis; and nieces, Randi and Renee’ Davis.

Her parents preceded Rhonda in death.

The memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Smith West Funeral Chapel and internment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
